About Us
Victoria & Ian purchased Potters Needs in April 2001, starting out using space in the garage.
Soon outgrowing this small space, a purpose built studio, gallery and workshop with clay-store was commissioned and opened to the public in June 2008.
This new facility has allowed potters needs to expand and better display their huge range of materials and equipment, placing all their services under one roof. Workshop and teaching space, kiln firing area, pottery tools & materials’ shop, “kiln doctor clinic”, clay-store and the exciting exhibition space- Potters Needs Gallery.
Potters Needs Gallery is a versatile space to accommodate a variety of work and provides a much needed venue for local and visiting ceramic artists to show their work: while providing the region with a specialist gallery for both collectors and enthusiasts.
